The West Local is heading south through West Brant on their way towards Waterford where they will interchange the 5 cars they have with Conrail. At the tail end of the train is TH&B van # 81.

As the West Local shoves back on the Rocky Spur a loaded coal train rolls past the east switch of Rocky with North Yard 18 miles ahead.
